How It Works

Reserve a spot below
You will be sent a questionnaire, contract, and retainer invoice within 24 hours of reserving your time slot. These must be returned within 48 hours or your booking will be cancelled and your time slot will be released.
Dancers under 18 years of age must have a guardian sign on their behalf.
A $25.00 retainer is required to reserve your session. This fee is non-refundable, and deducted from the total cost of your session. Should our shoot be cancelled due something unexpected on my end (weather, illness, pandemics, rental space issues), a refund for your retainer will be issued.

After your questionnaire, contract, and retainer have been received, you will be sent a booking confirmation and tips for making the most out of your session (picking outfits, posing).
PLEASE NOTE! Mini sessions and special events are my most popular and there is often a waiting list for time slots. It is your responsibility to check junk folders and submit requests for information in order to hold your spot.

after your session
Session fee must be received before photos are released. Invoices will be sent in the days following our session. You can pay by e-transfer (preferred), credit card, or cash on shoot day.
Due to the custom nature of photographic art, purchased sessions/digital products cannot be returned and fees are non-refundable.

BACKDROP COLOUR
MORNING / up to 12 PM = Blue Mist (light blue) ∙ AFTERNOON / 1 PM onward = Red (new colour)

Sessions are for dancers aged 6 years and older, and will utilise strobe lighting (flash) and a seamless paper backdrops. Open to dancers from any studio.
You may book as many 30 minute time slots as you like. These sessions are for creative dance photos only – not for headshots or audition portfolios.
30 minute slots are limited to ONE DANCER. No duo, sibling, or group photos. I suggest one outfit (adding/removing tops/bottoms works well – you won’t want to reduce your time in front of the camera with outfit changes). If booking more than one slot for yourself, additional quick changes are made possible.
If you would like to shoot with a partner, sibling, or friend, sign up for separate time slots back to back and arrive together. In other words, reserve a block of 60 minutes on the schedule. Two dancers total/maximum. Your one hour shoot will be a mix of solo and duo photos. Note: for popular events which sell quickly, booking sessions back-to-back may not be possible, and you may not be able to shoot with another person.
For those wanting holiday-themed photos, I will have holiday accessories available for you to borrow: santa hat, knee high striped socks, antlers, tiara. Please feel free to bring your own accessories if you like.
A minimum number of booked time slots is required to ensure this day of sessions will run.
