Coastal Dance

  • Duration: 5 & 10 minute sessions available
  • Backdrop Colour: Coloured gel on white backdrop

These sessions are open to dancers from Coastal Dance only.

Sessions use strobe lighting (flash) and a seamless paper backdrop. Dancers choose one gel colour per time slot: yellow, orange, red, magenta, blue, or green. Gels tint the backdrop and will also cast colour on the dancer and their clothing.

You may book as many time slots as you like. Sessions are for creative dance photos only—no headshots or audition portfolios.

Invoices will be sent after our session. You can pay by e-transfer (preferred) or credit card. Costs can be split for dancers shooting together.

IMPORTANT: Your dance studio has facilitated this session. Images may be used by your dance studio for promotion in print, web, and social media. Please get in touch if you would like to opt out of sharing photos with your studio.

HOW TO BOOK

01. Reserve a Spot

Find a time that works for you below. Please double-check whether you’re booking a 5-minute or 10-minute slot. You’ll receive booking details within 24 hours.

02. Submit Questionnaire

Dancers under 18 must have a guardian submit information on their behalf. If you are sharing sessions with other dancers, you will be able to let me know on the questionnaire.

03. Sign Contract

Contracts can seem overly detailed, but they ensure policies and copyright information are clear.

04. No Retainers Required

Retainers are not required for these sessions; however, I kindly ask that you honour your bookings and provide ample notice if you need to cancel.

5-Minute Session

5-minute sessions yield 1 photo only. Ideal for a SOLO dancer or a group of 2-4 dancers wanting just one photo. IMPORTANT: you will receive 1 IMAGE ONLY per 5-minute slot.

1 outfit only for 5-minute sessions.

Package Inclusions
  • 1 fully edited high resolution digital photograph only, with personal usage rights downloadable from a private online gallery
  • I gel colour choice for backdrop
  • Can be booked by a solo dancer or a group of 2-4
  • Cost can be split between dancers booking as a group
  • Retainers not required for these sessions
  • Tips on outfits and posing sent with booking confirmation

10-Minute Session

10-minute sessions typically yield 3-4+ photos. If I capture more, you’ll receive them at no extra charge. Ideal for ONE dancer seeking multiple shots. Groups of 2-4 DANCERS are welcome, but may receive fewer images (estimated 2-3) as group posing takes longer.

2 outfits maximum for 10-minute sessions (changes must be incredibly quick).
